$1.5 billion Privately Held Community Bank based in Waycross GA. Expanded into Jax in 2025 with LPO opened in December. Our goal is to bring community relationship banking BACK to Jacksonville, which years ago was a southeastern hub of banking and insurance companies.
What lessons from sports have you applied to your personal life and career?
Teamwork has been one of the biggest lessons I’ve carried from sports into my career. You learn quickly that success isn’t about one person. It’s about understanding your role, trusting the people around you, and working together toward a common goal. That same mindset has been important throughout my career in banking and in building strong teams and relationships.
What strategies do you use to improve your performance?
For me, success is accomplishing the goals you set for yourself. It’s not necessarily about comparing yourself to someone else. It’s about identifying what you want to achieve, putting in the work, and following through. And once you accomplish one goal, you set the next one and keep moving forward.
