How long have you been in your industry?25 years
Why did you choose your industry?I’ve been in digital media for over 20 years, and it all started with a love for storytelling and tech. It’s a great mix of creativity and strategy, helping businesses tell their stories in ways that stick. I’ve always been drawn to storytelling and the challenge of bringing brands to life. Working in branding and design lets me combine creativity and strategy to solve real-world problems for our clients.
Who are your typical clients?We work with a wide range of clients, but healthcare brands are a big focus. We have also partnered with consumer goods (CPG), tech/AI, FinTech, and Real Estate brands to create bold, effective campaigns and marketing that resonate with their audiences. It’s all about understanding their unique needs and delivering work that moves the needle.
What do you like best about being in this industry?I love turning big ideas into brands that actually mean something. My personal mission is to help good people do good things while making good money! The best part is partnering with clients to turn their vision into a brand that really resonates. I love how no two projects are ever the same—there’s always a new story to tell or a new challenge to solve.
What are common problems you see?A lot of brands struggle to stand out because they try to be everything to everyone. Helping clients find clarity and focus is key. Plus, keeping up with the fast-changing digital and social media market is always a challenge.
What advice/tips do you have for clients?Be bold but authentic. Great brands aren’t just noticed—they’re remembered. And trust the process; building something meaningful takes time.
When is your busy season?Spring and Fall
What keeps you up at night?Making sure our clients’ brands not only look good but drive real impact. I’m constantly thinking about how to deliver work that’s both creative and effective.
How do you market yourself to grow/expand your business?At Born & Bred, we let our work do the talking. We focus on building strong relationships with clients and delivering exceptional results that make us a trusted partner. Word-of-mouth and referrals have been huge for us, along with sharing our successes through case studies and industry networks.
How involved are you in the community?Beyond supporting AIDS/LifeCycle, I’m always looking for ways to use my skills to help non-profits and community-focused organizations make a bigger impact.
What is your favorite not for profit or charity?I’m a big supporter of AIDS/LifeCycle, which raises funds and awareness for HIV/AIDS services. It’s an incredible cause that aligns with my values.
What advice would you give to someone thinking of getting into this business?Dive into the world of branding with curiosity. Understand what makes a brand tick and how to connect with audiences. Always stay open to learning.
What do you enjoy doing in your free time?I’m all about nature, cycling and yoga —they challenge me both physically and mentally.
