How long have you been in your industry?7+
Why did you choose your industry?I didn't. It chose me. I owned an e-commerce store as a side hustle. When my suppliers started asking me how I was outselling them, they started asking me to run their ad campaigns. So I closed my store, and went full time as an agency.
Who are your typical clients?E-commerce store owners, medical spas, contractors (general, hvac, plumbing, electrical, solar, tree, roofing, etc), Gym's, franchises, disaster restoration
What do you like best about being in this industry?the breadth of businesses we are able to help. I love to learn, so learning about a new industry or vertical is interesting to me.
What are common problems you see?No cohesive strategy, and throwing money at ads, hoping for the best.
What advice/tips do you have for clients?Work with a company that you know and trust. Avoid the shiny object promising the world without doing a proper needs analysis on your company.
When is your busy season?January through December
What keeps you up at night?I sleep like a rock. Truly.
How do you market yourself to grow/expand your business?Press releases, podcast guest spots, social media posting, local networking, online networking, walking into businesses that I frequent and asking about their business.
How involved are you in the community?Local networking groups and events. Looking to join a local non-profit board.
What is your favorite not for profit or charity?Parkinson's Foundation - https://www.parkinson.org/
What advice would you give to someone thinking of getting into this business?Find a way to stand out from the crowd. This usually involves building personal relationships. People buy from other people they know, like and trust.
What do you enjoy doing in your free time?Cooking for friends and family. Being outdoors playing golf, camping, fishing, hunting, beaches, and traveling the world.
